The Korea Institute of Construction Technology (KICT) is building a moon simulator that duplicates lunar conditions for testing space equipment. The first of its kind, the moon simulator is a dusty thermal vacuum chamber (DTVC) combined with lunar soil, and may serve essential to developing new space exploration technology. When complete, the simulator will replicate the temperature, gravitational pull, and soil conditions of the moon to test lunar exploration technology. The KICT has mentioned that is working out a co-development agreement with NASA for the project. (KICT)
