In response to an imminent shortage of hospital beds amid the country’s third wave of COVID-19, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is setting up temporary beds in shipping containers converted to shelters in front of Seoul Medical Center. The city has seen more than 200 cases per day for the past six days, making a shortage of beds very likely.
