[%%IMAGE1%%]<p>  The Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (ADEX) 2019, where cutting-edge military technology from South Korea and overseas will be displayed in one venue, kicked off at Seoul Air Base, in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on Oct. 15 and will be held until Oct. 20. A full-sized mockup of South Korea’s newest fighter jet, the KF-X, was publicly revealed for the first time on this day. The stealth fighter F-35A was also debuted on Seoul ADEX 2019’s launch day. A source at Korea Aerospace Industries, commented that the F-35A is a fifth-generation Korean fighter, while the KF-X is a 4.5-generation fighter, adding that the KF-X costs less to operate but has a “greater operational capacity.” The photo shows the full-sized mockup of the KF-X.
