[Photo] At least 5 of 6 more sexual assault victims in S. Korean speed skating

Yeo Jun-hyung, head of the Solidarity for Young Skaters and former coach of the national short track speed skating team, has announced that there are athletes in addition to Shim Suk-hee who have suffered sexual violence at the hands of their coaches. Yeo declared during a radio interview on Jan. 10 that “at least five or six more victims of sexual assault” have come forward during investigations, and that the victims have remained silent out of fear of telling the truth. Yeo added that the majority of the additional victims are currently active athletes.
