Samsung Electronics has informed US customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Fold that shipments will be further delayed. The additional delay follows the postponement on Apr. 22 of the Galaxy Fold’s official launch, which was originally scheduled for Apr. 26. The postponement stemmed from reviewers uploading images of cracked screens. Emails sent out to customers said the delay was due to efforts to maximize product quality, but did not give a set date for shipment. Samsung gave customers the option of canceling their orders before shipment.
