S. Korea has opened additional vaccination centers across the country, including 18 in Seoul. This is to expedite the administration of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to adults over 75, allowing greater access to those who live far away from the existing vaccination centers.

The opening of new vaccination centers had been delayed previously due to logistical issues.
