Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly sent an email on May 19 to President Moon Jae-in congratulating him on his election, the Blue House reported in a May 21 press release.

In his email, Zuckerberg was quoted as congratulating Moon on taking office as the 19th President of South Korea and thanking him for visiting Facebook Korea for a live Facebook interview during his candidacy. Moon participated in the live broadcast at the Facebook Korea offices on Apr. 21 during his election campaign.

Zuckerberg was also quoted as saying that he fully agreed with Moon’s bulletin board message during his Facebook Korea visit, in which he pledged to achieve a “human-centered Fourth Industrial Revolution,” and that Facebook would also work actively to achieve a person-centered Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Zuckerberg reportedly went on to say he hoped to have the opportunity to meet Moon in the near future.
